Volos is the capitol city of Magnesia. It is located at the foot hill of Mount Pelion and is 25 km from Anhialos Airport, 325 km (4 hrs) from Athens and 215 km (3hrs) from Thessaloniki. Spring and summer is ideal season to visit this part of Pelion, where the colors are in complete harmony with the blue sea and sky.
